Given:

Let the normal time taken to reach City B be x minutes.

Formula Used:

- Time =DistanceSpeed\frac{Distance }{ Speed}

- If speed decreases, time increases proportionally for the same distance.

Solution:

Let the time Zakir normally takes be x minutes.
If the speed is reduced to 1/4, the time becomes 4 times more, i.e., 4x.
The delay caused = 4x - x = 3x
Solution:
3x = 45
x = 15
