Speed = $$\frac{ Distance}{time}$$ 

to converts km/h into m/sec 

we use  km/hr $$\times \frac{5}{18} = m/sec$$ 

Checking from the options 

Option(a). The speed of 20 m/sec is less the speed 80 km/h .

            converting 80km/h into m/sec = $$80 \times \frac{5}{18} = 25 m/sec$$ 

As we can see this statement is correct.

Option (b): Time may be calculated by dividing the distance by the speed. 

              i.e  $$\text{time} = \frac{\text{Distance}}{\text{Speed}}$$ 

This statement is correct.

Option (c): Covering the same distance in lesser time implies a higher speed. 

                if distance is same then, $$time \propto \frac{1}{Speed}$$ 

                so, if the time is less than speed is higher. 

Option(d): The speed of 99 km/h is less than the speed of 24 m/s​

               converting 99 km/h  in m/sec = $$99 \times \frac{ 5}{18} = 27.5 m/sec$$ 

                27.5 m/sec is greater than 24 m/sec , 

Therefore, this statement is incorrect. 

So, the incorrect option is option(d).
