Question

The solution of the equation is also the solution of the questions:

A.

3(2x+3)=5(x+1)

B.

2(2x+3)=3(x+1)

C.

3(2x+3)=2(x+3)

D.

5(2x+1)=3(x+1)

Correct option is A

By solving option (a),
3(2x+3)=5(x+1)
or, 6x+9=5x+5
or, x=- 4
Hence, option (a) has the same solution.
By solving option (b)
2(2x+3)=3(x+1),
or, 4x+6=3x+3
or, x= -3
Option (b) does not satisfies the condition.
