Solution:
Let Total Work = 8 units
Then:
Manoj's efficiency = = 1 unit/hour
Anand's efficiency = = 1 unit/hour
Let Anil’s efficiency = x units/hour
So, in 1 hour, total efficiency of the three = 1 + 1 + x
In 2 hours, total work = 8 units:
2(1 + 1 + x) = 8
2(2 + x) = 8
2 + x = 4
x = 2
So, Anil’s efficiency = 2 units/hour
Time = = 4 hours
