    Question

    If the volume of a room is 1680 m³ and the area of the floor is 112 m². Find the height of the room.

    A.

    8 m

    B.

    20 m

    C.

    15 m

    D.

    10 m

    Correct option is C

    Given:
    Volume of room = 1680 cubic metre
    Area of floor = 112 sq. m
    Formula Used:
    The volume of Cuboid = l × b × h
    Area of floor = l × b
    where,
    l = length, b = breadth, h = height
    Solution:
    Volume of room = 1680
    => l × b × h = 1680
    => (112) × h = 1680
    => h = 1680112\frac{1680}{112}
    => h = 15 m
