Question

If the areas of three adjacent faces of a cuboid are 5 cm², 15 cm², 27 cm², respectively, the surface area of the cuboid is:

A.

45 cm²

B.

75 cm²

C.

47 cm²

D.

94 cm²

Correct option is D

Given:
The areas of three adjacent faces of a cuboid are 5cm2,15cm2,27cm2 5cm^2 , 15cm^2 , 27cm^2
Formula Used:
Total surface area of cuboid = 2 (L×B+B×H+L×H)
Where L,B and H are length, breadth and height respectively.
Volume of cuboid =LBH
Solution:
In cuboid the adjacent faces area is given by: L×B, B×H, L×H
Where,
L×B=5cm2cm^2
B×H=15cm2cm^2
L×H=27cm2 cm^2
Total surface area of cuboid = 2 (L×B+B×H+L×H)
= 2(5+15+27)
=94cm2cm^2
