Solution: 

Q=(2.5)2×15×12Q = (2.5)^2 \times 15 \times 12 

Q=6.25×15×12Q = 6.25 \times 15 \times 12 

Q=1125joulesQ = 1125joules 

So, the heat produced is 1125 joules.
