Let number of men, total days and total work(or money earned) be M, D & W.

Then, $$\frac{M_{1}\times D_{1}}{W_{1}} = \frac{M_{2}\times D_{2}}{W_{2}}$$ 

Solution:

Let 48 workers working 14 days earn ₹$$x$$​  then,

​$$\frac{56\times 5}{4080} = \frac{48\times 14}{x}$$​​

​$$x= \frac{14\times 48 \times4080}{56\times5}=₹9,792$$

48 workers working 14 hours a day will earn ₹9,792
