Time = 15 hours
Formula Used:
Work = Men × Time
Rate of work = Number of trees cut ÷ (Men × Time)
Number of trees cut in new situation = Rate of work × (New number of men × New time)
Solution:
1 man can cut 50 trees in 30 × 10 hours = 300 hours.
=> So, 20 men (since 10 men leave) can cut 50 trees =30020 \frac{300}{20}​ = 15 hours.
=> In 15 hours, 20 men can cut 50 trees.
