TNPSC Group 4 Application Fee
While registration, candidates are required to pay Rs. 150 as fee which is valid for 5 years and and examination fee of Rs. 100/- (while filling out the application form). Payment of the fee must be made through online channels such as Net Banking, Credit card, or Debit card before the specified deadline for submitting the online application.

- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars), Scheduled Tribes, Persons with Benchmark Disability, and Destitute Widow categories are exempted from paying the examination fee for the TNPSC Group 4 Examination.
- Most Backward Classes, Denotified Communities, Backward Classes (Other than Muslim), and Backward Classes (Muslim) are entitled to three free attempts, while Ex-Servicemen are entitled to two free attempts.

Knowledge of Tamil Language
- Candidates must demonstrate sufficient proficiency in Tamil at the time of this Notification. An individual is considered to have adequate Tamil knowledge if they have cleared the SSLC examination or its equivalent, HSC, or Degree exams with Tamil as one of the languages, or have pursued the High School Course in Tamil medium.
- Alternatively, they must have passed the SSLC examination or its equivalent in Tamil medium or cleared the Second Class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
- Furthermore, candidates are required to upload or provide proof of their SSLC, HSC, Degree, or PG Degree mark sheets, or evidence of passing the Second Class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil administered by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.

TNPSC Group 4 2024 Selection Process
The TNPSC Group 4 Selection Process consists of stages such as: Written Exam and Document Verification. TNPSC Group 4 2024 Exam Pattern
The TNPSC Group 4 Exam 2024 is a 3-hour objective-type paper comprising 300 questions. The minimum qualifying mark for all categories is 90. Part-A questions are in Tamil, while General Studies & Aptitude & Mental Ability Test questions are in both English and Tamil. The exam has two parts:
- Part A involves a Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test (SSLC Standard) with 100 questions, totaling 150 marks.
- Part B includes General Studies (SSLC Standard) with 75 questions worth 150 marks and Aptitude & Mental Ability Test (SSLC Standard) with 25 questions. The total marks for Part B are unspecified.
- Part B evaluation is contingent on candidates securing a minimum qualifying mark of 40% (i.e., 60 marks) in Part A.
