WBP SI Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2026

The WBP SI examination tests candidates’ general knowledge, numerical ability, reasoning skills, language proficiency and physical fitness. The preliminary examination is a screening test, followed by PMT and PET. Candidates qualifying in both physical tests are called for the Final Combined Competitive Examination, which consists of three conventional (descriptive) papers.

WBP SI Selection Process 2026

The West Bengal Police Recruitment Board follows a five-stage selection process for recruiting Sub-Inspectors in the Unarmed and Armed Branches. Candidates must qualify in the respective stages to be considered for final selection.
