Punjab Court Clerk Selection Process 2026
The Punjab Court Clerk Selection Process 2026 consists of the following stages:
- Written Examination: Candidates must qualify for the computer-based examination.
- Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): Candidates must qualify for the spreadsheet test and English typing test.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must present their documents for verification.
The final merit list will be prepared based on the written examination marks. The CPT is qualifying in nature, and its marks will not be included in the final merit.

Qualifying Marks and Negative Marking
- Candidates must secure at least 33% in each subject.
- A minimum of 40% marks in aggregate is required to qualify the written examination.
- The English Composition subjective paper will be evaluated only for candidates who secure at least 33% in General Knowledge.
- For each incorrect answer in the objective portion, 0.25 marks will be deducted.
- Questions left unattempted will receive neither credit nor a deduction.
- Normalisation will be applied to the objective portion if the examination is conducted in multiple shifts.
Punjab Court Clerk Computer Proficiency Test 2026
Candidates shortlisted after the written examination will have to qualify the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT), which assesses their computer operating skills. The test has two parts.
