Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification Requirements

• Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English must be studied as separate subjects.
• Candidates must secure at least 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
• NIOS candidates with Science stream are eligible.
• Candidates awaiting Class 12 results may apply provisionally.
• A 5% relaxation in qualifying marks is available only for Uttarakhand SC/ST candidates.

State Quota Eligibility

• Candidates are eligible for Government institute seats and State Quota seats in Private Institutes if they satisfy the domicile requirements prescribed by the university.
• Permanent residents of Uttarakhand who have passed Class 10 and/or Class 12 from recognized institutions with the required subject combination are eligible under the applicable state rules.

Non-State Quota Eligibility

• For Management and other Non-State Quota seats in Private Nursing Institutes, candidates who have passed 10+2 with PCB and English from any recognized board and secured the required marks are eligible.

• The examination will be conducted in offline mode.
• The question paper will contain 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• The duration of the examination will be 2 hours.
• The paper will be available in Hindi and English languages.
• Each correct answer will carry 1 mark.
• There will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.
• No marks will be awarded for unanswered questions.
• If more than one option is marked for a question, zero marks will be awarded.
