Medical Standards

Candidates must meet CISF medical standards to be considered for final selection.

  • Weight should be proportionate to height and age.
  • Candidates must not have knock knees, flat foot, varicose vein, or squint in the eyes.
  • Tattoos are permitted only as per prescribed CISF guidelines.
  • Medical fitness will be assessed through Detailed Medical Examination (DME) and Review Medical Examination (RME).

The recruitment process consists of multiple stages designed to assess professional knowledge, physical standards, and medical fitness.

Stage 1: Written Examination

The written examination will be conducted in OMR/CBT mode and will test candidates on trade-related knowledge.
