Bihar BTSC Nursing Tutor Selection Process
The Bihar BTSC Nursing Tutor Selection Process 2025 is designed to ensure transparency and fairness in recruitment. The process consists of a Computer-Based Test (CBT) followed by the evaluation of work experience, but only for candidates who qualify in the written test. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
The first stage of the BTSC tutor selection process is a written competitive examination conducted in online mode. It consists of 100 multiple-choice questions to be attempted in 2 hours, available in both Hindi and English languages. The CBT is worth 100 marks, but the final merit marks will be calculated by multiplying the percentage obtained by 0.75. For example, a 70% score in the CBT will be converted to 52.5 marks (70 × 0.75).
Shortlisting for Experience Evaluation
Only candidates who qualify for the CBT will proceed further. Qualifying means obtaining the minimum marks required (as decided by BTSC) to be considered for merit listing. Those who do not qualify the CBT will be excluded from further evaluation, regardless of their work experience or qualifications.
Work Experience Assessment
Qualified candidates from the CBT stage will be assessed for relevant teaching experience as a contractual Tutor. Candidates will get 5 marks for each completed year of such experience in government or non-private nursing educational institutions within Bihar, with a maximum limit of 25 marks. Experience for part of a year will be awarded pro-rata marks. The total experience will be counted up to 4 July 2025.
Verification of Experience Certificates
To claim experience marks, candidates must upload a valid work experience certificate in the prescribed format (Appendix-1) during application or document verification. The certificate must be issued by competent authorities such as the Civil Surgeon, Medical College Superintendent, or Director of a Super Specialty Hospital. If the certificate is invalid or not in the prescribed format, experience marks will be denied.
Final Merit List Preparation
