The SBI SO Online Application 2024 has been concluded on 14th October 2024. The candidates who applied for the offered posts are now eligible for the shortlisting. As the application process is now over, the recruitment authority will not accept any further requests from the candidates.
Steps to Apply for SBI Specialist Officer Recruitment 2024
Follow the steps given below to apply for the SBI SO 2024 Examination:
- Visit the official website of SBI at www.sbi.co.in.
- Now, click on ‘Careers’ and then click on “Current opening”.
- After that, a series of latest notifications will appear on your screen. You need to click on “Recruitment of Specialist Cadre Officer on Contractual Basis Advertisement Number: CRPD/SCO/2024-25/15.”
4. After clicking, you will get two options: “Login If Already Registered” and “Click for Registration”.
5. You can choose the option accordingly. After SBI SO Registration, go to the Login Page. Enter the credentials. Click on Login.
6. Enter all the essential details such as Name, Date of Birth, Address for Communication, Educational Qualifications, and work experience in the online application form.
7. Upload your photograph and signature and Upload the required documents (academic and professional).
8. Finally, make Payment to complete the online application form (Debit Card, Credit Card, UPI, Net Banking) for SBI SO 2024.
9. Click the Submit button to complete the SBI SO Online form.
SBI SO 2024 Online Application Pre-Requisites
Before Applying for SBI SO 2024, a candidate must have the following things ready to avoid any last-time glitches in the online application process:
- Candidates must have a Photograph and Signature Ready before applying for the SBI SO Online Application
- Candidates must NOT sign in CAPITAL LETTERS as it won’t be accepted.

SBI SO Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
The SBI SO Selection Process consists of the following stages:
- Shortlisting: A committee will set the shortlisting criteria, and a sufficient number of candidates will be selected for interviews as decided by the Bank. The Bank’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entertained. Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the interview.
- Interview-cum-CTC Negotiation: The interview is worth 100 marks, with qualifying marks determined by the Bank. CTC Negotiation will occur individually during the interview. The Bank’s decision on these matters is final, and no correspondence will be entertained.
- Merit List: The merit list for selection will be based solely on interview scores, arranged in descending order. If multiple candidates have the same cut-off score, they will be ranked by age in descending order on the merit list.
SBI SO Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2024
The SBI SO 2024 online examination will be conducted for the Assistant Manager posts in November 2024. The candidates applying for the posts will have to prepare for the examination with the help of SBI SO Syllabus 2024, which includes General Aptitude and Professional Knowledge. The General Aptitude includes 30 questions from Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, and English language sections. On the other hand, the General IT Knowledge section includes 60 questions for a total of 100 marks. The duration of the online examination is 120 minutes of which 45 minutes are allotted for General Aptitude and 75 minutes for Professional Knowledge.
