The State Bank of India (SBI) has begun the SBI Apprentice Apply Online 2026 process from 19th May 2026 for 7150 Apprentice seats. Interested candidates can fill out the application form and submit it on the official website of SBI at www.sbi.bank.in/web/careers/current-openings.

Candidates have to pay a minimal fee of Rs. 300 along with the application form, and 8th June 2026 is the last date to apply.

SBI Apprentice Apply Online 2026

The apprenticeship programme at SBI is an annual process wherein eligible candidates are shortlisted from a large pool of applicants and they get training for a period of 1 year at SBI.

Only candidates who are within the age limit of 20 to 28 years and completed their Graduation degree in any stream, as on 1st April 2026, can apply.

The online application process is live at SBI website from 19th May to 8th June, for a period of 21 days.

How to successfully Apply for SBI Apprenticeship 2026?

If you find yourself eligible for this role, then you can follow these steps to apply:

  1. Visit the SBI official website or click on the direct link provided below
  2. Click on the “Careers” tab, and a new page will appear
  3. Click on “Current Openings” under the “Join SBI” tab
  4. A list of current recruitments will open and then Click on “ENGAGEMENT OF APPRENTICES IN SBI UNDER THE APPRENTICES ACT, 1961 CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07”
  5. Click on the “Apply Online” link
  6. You will be redirected to the application page
  7. Click on the “Click here for New Registration” link. Important instructions page will open.
  8. Click on “Continue” and Enter and confirm the basic details asked in the registration form.
  9. Enter the security code and Click on the “Save & Next” button.
  10. Then upload a scanned copy of your photograph and your signature as per the requirements. Click on the “Next” button
  11. Select your preferred options for the details asked in the form. and click on “Validate your details”
  12. After clicking on “Validate your Details” a preview page will open, Check all your details and accept the declaration by clicking on the checkbox against “I Agree”
  13. Click on “Final Submit” and take a printout of the application form.

Prerequisites For SBI Apprentice Registration

The following details/ documents will be required to complete the SBI Apprentice application form.

  1. Mobile number
  2. Email id
  3. A scanned copy of a photograph
  4. A scanned copy of the signature

Documents Required for Online Form

  1. Photograph: 4.5cm × 3.5cm (20kb–50 kb)
  2. Signature: 10kb – 20kb
  3. Live Photo capture
  4. Left hand thumb impression: 20 KB – 50 KB
  5. Handwritten declaration: 50 KB – 100 KB

SBI Apprentice Handwritten Declaration Format & Text

As per the official notification, the applicant has to write a “declaration in English clearly on a white paper with black ink only” and the text will be:

“I,______(Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine “

Note: The text should not be in Capital letters.

What is the Procedure to Upload Documents in the Apprentice form?

While filling out the SBI Apprentice online form, candidates must upload four mandatory documents correctly.

  1. In the application form separate links are available to upload: Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Handwritten Declaration.
  2. Click on the respective link such as: “Upload Photograph”/“Upload Signature”/“Upload Left Thumb Impression”/“Upload Handwritten Declaration”.
  3. Browse your device and select the scanned file from the saved location.
  4. Click on the file and then press ‘Open/Upload’.
  5. If the file size or format does not match the guidelines, an error message will appear.
  6. After uploading, use the preview option to check image clarity. If the image looks blurred, unclear, or smudged, re-upload a clearer version.

Your application will not be registered unless all four documents are uploaded in the correct format and clarity as specified.
