Educational Qualification

As per the UP Subordinate Agriculture Services Rules 1993 (as amended), candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or equivalent from a recognized institution or university in India. Accepted qualifications include:

  • Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture / Horticulture / Forestry
  • Sc. (Hons.) Forestry
  • Tech. (Agricultural Engineering)
  • Sc. (Home Science) / Community Science (four-year degree from Agricultural & Technology University)

Preferential Qualification: Candidates who have served in the Pradeshik Sena for at least two years, or hold the NCC ‘B’ certificate, will be given preference in direct recruitment.

Age Limit

Candidates must have attained 21 years of age and must not have crossed 40 years as of 1st July of the calendar year in which vacancies are advertised. Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST, OBC, PH, Ex-Servicemen, and other reserved categories as per UP government rules.
