Preliminary Examination Clause

The commission may conduct a Preliminary Examination if the number of applicants exceeds 50,000. If the number of applications remains below 50,000, the Preliminary Exam may be skipped and candidates will be called directly for the Main Examination.

If conducted, candidates equal to 15 times the total vacancies will be shortlisted for the Main Examination category-wise.

Jharkhand Dairy Technical Officer Exam Pattern 2026

The examination may be conducted in OMR-based or Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. All questions will be objective-type multiple-choice questions.

• Each correct answer carries 3 marks
• 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer
• Each paper duration: 2 Hours
• Paper-1 is qualifying in nature
• Minimum 30% marks required in Paper-1 and Paper-2
• Minimum 30% marks required in Technical Subject component of Paper-3
• Marks normalization will apply if the exam is conducted in multiple shifts
