HPSC ADO Eligibility Criteria 2025 Age Limit

Candidates applying for the HPSC Agriculture Development Officer post must be between 18 to 42 years of age as on 01 July 2025. Age relaxation will be given to candidates belonging to reserved categories as per Haryana Government rules.

Haryana ADO Eligibility Criteria 2025 Nationality

To be eligible for the HPSC Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) post, a candidate must be either:

• A citizen of India, or
• A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
• A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of settling permanently, or
• A person of Indian origin who has migrated from countries like Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and several East African nations (such as Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, etc.) intending to settle in India permanently.

Aspirants must also note that candidates falling under categories other than Indian citizens must have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

HPSC ADO Eligibility Criteria Educational Qualification

To apply for the HPSC Agriculture Development Officer (ADO) post,

• Candidates must have a B.Sc. (Honours) degree in Agriculture from a recognised university.
• In addition to this, candidates should have studied Hindi or Sanskrit at the Matriculation level, or must have completed 10+2, B.A., or M.A. with Hindi as one of the subjects.
