BSF Head Constable RO RM Exam Pattern 2024

In the BSF Head Constable RO RM written examination, Multiple Choice Questions will be asked, there will be 100 questions for 200 marks. The Written Exam will be divided into four parts which includes Part 1 Physics, 2 Mathematics, 3 Chemistry and Part 4 English & GK.

  • Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry syllabus will be covered from 10+2/intermediate of CBSE/State Boards of Education.
  • GK section consists of Current affairs, History, Geography and General Science.

Important Points for Written Exam

  • For every multiple-choice question of 2 marks, 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
  • There will be one OMR-based composite paper consisting of above mentioned four parts and the question paper will be “OMR-based objective type with multiple choices”.
  • The MCQ-type written examination of 02 hours duration will be conducted at selected Centers on the date and time fixed by HQ DG BSF.
  • The question paper will be printed both in English as well as Hindi for each post.
  • The minimum qualifying marks for the written test for both posts are as under:-
    Direct Entry:-
    i) General/OBC/EWS – 38 %
    ii) SC/ST – 33%
    However, the number of candidates to qualify for OMR Based Screening Test and further to appear in the next phase shall be restricted to 20 times the number of vacancies for recruitment post
