Mubarak Shah Khalji

B.

Feroz Shah

C.

Nasiruddin Mahmud

D.

Sikandar Lodi

Correct option is B

The only Sultan of Delhi who wrote his autobiographical account was Feroz Shah Tughlaq. He ruled from 1351 to 1388 CE and was known for his administrative reforms, construction projects, and patronage of learning. His autobiography is titled "Futuhat-e-Firozshahi", which translates to "The Victories of Feroz Shah." In this work, Feroz Shah Tughlaq provides an account of his reign, his achievements, and the challenges he faced.

Mubarak Shah Khalji was the last ruler of the Khalji dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate. He succeeded his father, Alauddin Khalji, one of the most powerful Sultans of Delhi. He was known for relaxing Alauddin’s strict revenueand military policies, including the price control measures. Mubarak Shah was assassinated in 1320 by his trusted general, Khusro Khan, who briefly usurped the throne. This marked the end of the Khalji dynasty.

Nasiruddin Mahmud was a ruler of the Mamluk (Slave) Dynasty of Delhi. He was placed on the throne by his powerful Vizier, Ghiyasuddin Balban. The actual administrative control and military campaigns were handled by Balban, who would later become the Sultan of Delhi after Nasiruddin’s death.

Sikandar Lodi was the second ruler of the Lodi dynasty, and he is known for his efforts to consolidate the Delhi Sultanate after his father, Bahlul Lodi, had laid its foundation. He fought campaigns to control regions such as Bihar and Jaunpur. He founded the city of Agra in 1504, which would later become a significant center under the Mughal Empire. He was died in 1517, and he was succeeded by his son, Ibrahim Lodi, the last ruler of the Lodi dynasty, who was defeated by Babur in the First Battle of Panipat (1526), which marked the beginning of the Mughal Empire.
