    Question

    Three numbers are in the ratio of 2:5:6 and their sum is 663. Find the three numbers:

    A.

    107,250, 306

    B.

    102, 250, 311

    C.

    102,255, 306

    D.

    112, 250, 301

    Correct option is C

    Three numbers are in the ratio of 2 ∶ 5 ∶ 6.
    Let the numbers are 2x, 5x and 6x.
    Given
    2x + 5x + 6x = 663
    13x = 663
    x = 663 / 13 = 51
    So, the numbers are,
    First number 2x = 2 × 51 = 102
    Second number 5x = 5 × 51 = 255
    Third number 6x = 6 × 51 = 306
    So, the three numbers are 102, 255 and 306.
