    The following Pie chart shows the % distribution of the expenditure incurred in making a building. Study the pie chart and answer the questions. If for a building, the builder has to pay 3,06,000 as foundation cost, then what will be the amount of exterior to be paid for this building?

    A.

    2,12,000

    B.

    2,61,500

    C.

    1,94,500

    D.

    2,29,500

    Correct option is D

    Given:

    Builder pay as foundation cost = 3,06000

    Solution:

    Total = 100%

    Expenditure on foundation 20% = 306000

                                                 1% = 15300

    Then the amount of exterior to be paid for this building

    15%=15300×1515 \% = 15300 \times 15

    = 229500
