Solution:

$$\text{Average price} = \frac{\text{Sum of prices}}{3}$$ 

$$\text{Sum of Prices} = 3 \times 16,875 = 50, 625$$ 

The sum of the prices of the three items: 

$$3x + 5x + 7x = 15x$$ 

$$15x = 50,625$$ 

$$x = \frac{50,625}{15} = 3,375$$
