    Question

The angles of triangle are such that one is average of other two, then the angles are:
    1. π/6, π/3, π/2
    2. π/3, π/3, π/2
    3. π/6, π/3, π/4
    4. π/2, π/2, π/3

    A.

    4

    B.

    3

    C.

    2

    D.

    1

    Correct option is D

    Concept Used:

Sum of angles of triangle = 180 degrees

    Solution:

    As we know, π=180°\pi=180\degree

Checking all the options, we get

    1. π/6, π/3, π/2 = 30, 60, and 90 = 180 degrees

    2. π/3, π/3, π/2 = 60, 60, and 90 = 210 degrees

    3. π/6, π/3, π/4 = 30, 60, and 45 = 135 degrees

    4. π/2, π/2, π/3 = 90, 90, and 60 = 240 degrees

So, only Statement 1. is possible for this triangle which gives 180 degrees.

    Thus, option(d) is correct.
