Solution:
If ages are in ratio a:ba : b, then assume:
Nishi’s age = 5x, Vineet’s age = 8x
Condition after 9 years:
3(5x + 9) = 2(8x + 9)
15x + 27 = 16x + 18
27 - 18 = 16x – 15x
x = 9
Nishi’s present age = 5x = 45
Vineet’s present age = 8x = 72
Difference = 72 - 45 = 27 years
