Mr. Sharma, Mr. Gupta and Ms. Sinha invested ₹4,000, ₹8,000 and ₹6,000, respectively, in a business. Mr. Sharma left after 6 months. If after 8 months, there was a gain of ₹34,000, then what will be the share of Mr. Gupta?

Mr gupta Invested ₹ 8000 for 8 months.

Ms. Sinha invested ₹ 6000 for 8 months.

total profit = ₹ 34000

Mr. Sharma Invested ₹4,000 for 6 months = 4000 $$\times$$​ 6 = 24000

Mr. Gupta Invested ₹ 8000 for 8 months. = 8000 $$\times$$​ 8 = 64000

Ms. Sinha invested ₹ 6000 for 8 months = 6000 $$\times$$​ 8 = 48000

Total Investment = 24000 + 64000 + 48000 = 136000

Calculate the ratio of each partner share;

Mr Sharma’s share = $$\frac{24000}{136000}$$ = $$\frac{3}{17}$$​​

Mr .Gupta's share = $$\frac{64000}{136000}$$ = $$\frac{8}{17}$$​​

Ms. Sinha's share = $$\frac{48000}{136000}$$ = $$\frac{6}{17}$$

The total profit is ₹34,000, So Mr. gupta's share will be
