Given: 

AB∥QP,AB=x, PQ=x+10, $$RB= \frac{x}{2}$$, BP=x+1  

Concept Used:  

Triangle ARB and QRP are similar 

​$$\frac{AB}{RB} = \frac{QP}{RP}$$ 

Solution:  

$$\frac{x }{x/2} = \frac{x+10}{x/2 +x+1}$$     

​$$2 = \frac{x+10}{(3x+2)/2}$$ 

6x + 4 = 2x + 20 

4x = 16 

x =  4 

Then the value of x + 10 = 4 + 10 = 14 unit.
