    Given: 

    AB∥QP,AB=x, PQ=x+10, RB=x2RB= \frac{x}{2}, BP=x+1  

    Concept Used:  

    Triangle ARB and QRP are similar 

    ABRB=QPRP\frac{AB}{RB} = \frac{QP}{RP} 

    Solution:  

    xx/2=x+10x/2+x+1\frac{x }{x/2} = \frac{x+10}{x/2 +x+1}     

    2=x+10(3x+2)/22 = \frac{x+10}{(3x+2)/2} 

    6x + 4 = 2x + 20 

    4x = 16 

    x =  4 

    Then the value of x + 10 = 4 + 10 = 14 unit.
