Given:
25% of the number of mathematics books = two-thirds of the number of physics books.

Solution:

​Let the mathematics books be M  and physics books be P

25100×M=23×P MP=83\frac{25}{100} \times M = \frac{2}{3} \times P\\ \ \\\frac{M}{P} = \frac{8}{3}​​

M : P = 8 : 3
