Question

If p, q, r and s, the measures of the four angles of a quadrilateral, are in the ratio 3 : 5 : 4 : 6, then the value of 3p+2r is:

A.

330°

B.

340°

C.

360°

D.

310°

Correct option is B

Given :
Ratios of angles a quadrilateral : p:q:r:s = 3:5:4:6

Formula Used:

Sum of interior angle of quadrilateral  = 360o

Solution:

Angles p = 3x, q = 5x, r = 4x and s = 6x

3x + 5x + 4x + 6x = 360

18x = 360

x = 20

p = 60 & r = 80

3p + 2r = 3 ×\times 60 + 2 ×\times 80 = 180 + 160 = 340o
