If A exceeds B by 25% and B is less than C by 30%, then the ratio of A and C is:

A exceeds B by 25%.

B is less than C by 30%. 

Increased Value  = $$\text{original value} \times \left( \frac {100 \pm \text{(increased/decreased) \%}}{100} \right)$$ ​

Let c = 100 

Then, 

A = $$70 \times \frac{125}{100} = \frac{175}{2}$$ 

B = $$100 \times \frac{70}{100} = 70$$   

Thus,  ratio of A : C =  $$\frac{175}{2} : 100 = 175 : 200 =\bf 7 : 8$$​​
