According to the question,

500 × 25 = 10x(x - 25)
(x - 25)x = 50 × 25
x^2- 25x = 1250
By solving the above equation
x = 50 km/hr & x - 25 = 25 km/hr
∴ Speed of the Bus = 50 - 25 = 25 km/hr
