Given:

Express sinθ\sin \theta​ in terms  of cotθ\cot \theta​​

Formula Used:

For any acute angle θ\theta​​

sinθ=1cosecθ\sin \theta = \frac{1}{\cosec \theta}​​

1+cot2θ=cosec2θ1 + \cot^2 \theta = \cosec^2 \theta​​

Solution:

sinθ=1cosecθ\sin \theta = \frac{1}{\cosec \theta}​​

1+cot2θ=cosec2θ1 + \cot^2 \theta = \cosec^2 \theta​​

So cosecθ=1+cot2θ\cosec \theta = \sqrt{1 + \cot^2 \theta}​​

Hence sinθ=11+cot2θ\sin \theta = \frac{1}{\sqrt{1 + \cot^2 \theta}}​​

Hence correct option is (d)
