    sin θ + cos θ = √3

    Formula used:
    (sin θ + cos θ)² = sin²θ + cos²θ + 2sinθcosθ

    and sin²θ + cos²θ = 1

    Solution:
    (sin θ + cos θ)² = (√3)²
    => 1 + 2sinθ.cosθ = 3
    => 2sinθ.cosθ = 2
    => sinθ.cosθ = 1

    Now,
    tan θ + cot θ = (sin²θ + cos²θ) / (sinθ.cosθ)
    => tan θ + cot θ = 1 / 1
    => tan θ + cot θ = 1

    Correct answer is (c) 1
