When diagonal is given,

Area of square = $$\frac{d\times d}{2}$$​​

Where, d is diagonal.

Area of square field = 24,200

​$$\frac{d\times d}{2} = 24,200 \\$$​​

​$$d^2 = 24200 \times 2 \\$$​​

​$$d = \sqrt{48400}$$​​

d = 220 

Now, To cross square field diagonally;

Time = $$\frac{220\times 18}{4.4\times 5}$$​ = 180 sec.
