Cost Price (CP) of 42 bags = ₹41,622

Selling Price (SP) of 35 bags = ₹37,345

Desired profit = ₹3,952

Formula Used: 

​Profit = x×(SP per bagCP per bag)x \times (\text{SP per bag} - \text{CP per bag})​​

Solution:

CP per bag =4162242 \frac{41622}{42}​ = ₹991

SP per bag =3734535 \frac{37345}{35}​ = ₹1067

Let x be the number of bags to buy and sell

x×(1067991)=3952x \times (1067 - 991) = 3952​​

x×76=3952x \times 76 = 3952​​

x = 395276 \frac{3952}{76}​ = 52

Thus, 52 laptop bags should be bought and sold
