Given:

Number of coins of ₹2,₹5 and ₹10 coins are in ratio 5:7:8

Total amount = ₹1250

Solution:

Let the ratio be 5x,7x and 8x

Then,

5x(2) + 7x(5) + 8x(10) = 1250

10x+35x+80x = 1250

125x = 1250

x =10

Number of coins of ₹5 are 7x = 7×107 \times 10 ​= 70
