Question

A, B and C entered into a partnership business with investment of Rs. 4800, Rs. 2000 and Rs. 2800 respectively. At the end of a year, the profit of B is Rs. 3500, then find the difference between profit share of A and C.

A.

1400 Rs.

B.

4900 Rs.

C.

3500 Rs.

D.

700 Rs.

E.

1500 Rs.

Correct option is C

Ratio of profit share of A, B and C = 4800 ×12:2000×12:2800×12
= 12 : 5 : 7
Given, 5 unit = 3500
1 unit = 700 Rs.
So, required difference = (12 – 7) ×700= 5 ×700=3500 Rs.
