A, B and C are three candidates who have taken part in an election which have 25000 total voters in the voter list. 30% people do not vote and the ratio of casting votes among all three is 13 : 7 : 15 respectively. Find the difference between winner and second runner-up candidate in the election.

Let the number of votes received by A, B & C be 13x, 7x & 15x respectively.
35x = 17500
x = 500
Required difference = 15x – 7x = 8x = 4000
