Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Ministry of Home Affairs has invited online applications for 1522 vacancies for multiple posts such as Driver, Lab Assistant, Waiter, Cook, Gardener, Plumber, Carpenter, Safaiwala, etc. The selection will be on the basis of a written test, physical standard test (PST), and physical efficiency test (PET). SSB Constable Height, Chest & Physical Requirements

The selection process for the SSB Constable will comprise of the following.

The selection will be made in serial wise. The Physical Efficiency Test or PET will be the first stage. The second stage will be the Physical Standard Test (PST) and the ones who will qualify both the PET and PST will undergo the Written Test.

This is the first stage of the selection process. It will include a race for male and female candidates.

SSB Constable PST Height and Chest Measurements

Candidates who will qualify the SSB PET will be called for the PST. The height and weight for the physical standard test for all the posts are given below.

1. Height and Chest Measurement for the post of Driver

The height and chest measurements for the SSB Constable Driver post for male candidates is given below.

Points To Note For SSB Constable Height and Chest Relaxation

1. Candidates who are seeking height and chest relaxations will have to submit certificate reg. of their community from concerned District Authorities.

2. The weight of the candidates should be proportionate to height and age.

3. Weight will not be disqualification at the time of PST. However, overweight and underweight candidates will be disqualified during the detailed medical examination (DME).

SSB Constable Written Exam Test

The candidates who will qualify the PST and PET will be eligible to appear for the written test. There will be a common entrance test (CET) for all the posts.

The written test will be of 100 Marks for a duration of 2 Hours.
There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions or MCQs.
The questions will be based on General Knowledge and General Awareness, Knowledge Mathematics, Reasoning, General English/Hindi.

Minimum Qualifying Marks For Written-test

The Minimum qualifying marks for the written test is given below:

For General, EWS, OBC, & Ex-Servicemen Candidates: 50%
SC, ST Candidates: 40 %

Final Merit List will be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the written examination.

SSB Constable Bharti Final Selection

The final selection of the candidates for the SSB Constable Recruitment will be made on the basis of the marks obtained in the written test. The cut-off scores will be decided after the conduct of the written exam only. Moreover, the candidates need to be medically fit.
