UPSSSC Stenographer Syllabus & Exam Pattern 2025

The UPSSSC Stenographer exam will be conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) for the recruitment of 333 Stenographer posts. The selection process includes three stages: a Written Exam, a Stenography Test, and Document Verification.

The exam will be conducted in an offline mode (pen and paper-based) and will have a total duration of 2 hours. Candidates preparing for this recruitment must focus on understanding the UPSSSC Stenographer Syllabus 2025 to excel in the examination.

The exam comprises five sections: General Hindi, General Intelligence, General Knowledge, Computer-related information, and UP GK with a total of 100 questions carrying 100 marks.

• Total Duration: 2 hours

• Total Marks: 100

• Marks per Question: 1 mark each

• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer

Additionally, the stenography test is qualifying in nature, and its results will not impact the final merit list.

Candidates who qualify in the written exam will be shortlisted for the Typing Test, which will be qualifying in nature. The expected criteria for the test are as follows:
