How to Register for JAIIB 2025?
If you are looking forward to booking your seat for the November cycle exam, then you can follow these steps for successful application submission.
Step 1: Open your browser and open the official website of the Indian Institute of Banking and Finance (IIBF).
Step 2: Now, on the homepage, click on the “Apply Now” button. There you can see various exams.
Step 3: Click on “Apply for JAIIB”.
Step 4: Enter all the necessary details and upload documents.
Step 5: At the end, pay the application fee and submit the application form.
Step 6: Make sure you have received a fee receipt and official confirmation email/text from IIBF that your application has been received.
A unique registration ID will be provided to you, which you can use for admit card download, result, and other purposes.
Prerequisites for JAIIB 2025 Apply Online
The documents to be uploaded while filling out the application form are a passport-size photograph, signature, and photo ID. The size and dimension of each document is the same, which is 8 KB to 20 KB and 100 × 120 px, respectively.

JAIIB 2025 Registration Fee
Paying the JAIIB application fee is necessary; your form will not be accepted without it. You can pay the fee online using your Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet banking, UPI, or any other online payment option. After paying, be sure to take a screenshot of the successful payment as proof for future use.

Note: The application fee to be paid during 1st attempt is a bit higher as it includes the membership fee plus registration fee.
JAIIB Registration 2025 Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the JAIIB exam include qualification, Age limit, and number of attempts. We have discussed each requirement below.
Age Limit:
There is no age limit for candidates to apply. The exam is open to employees of all ages working in the banking sector.
Employment Requirement:
- The candidate must be a current employee working in the banking or finance sector and must be a member of the Indian Institute of Banking & Finance (IIBF).
- Only bank employees can appear for the exam, as it’s specifically designed for them.
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have completed the 12th standard in any stream or its equivalent qualification. However, at the discretion of the Institute, candidates working in the clerical or supervisory staff cadre of banks may be permitted to sit for the exam, even if they haven’t passed the 12th standard, based on the recommendation of the bank’s Manager or officer-in-charge where the candidate is employed.
- Subordinate staff (staff in non-supervisory roles) can also apply, as long as they have passed the 12th standard or its equivalent.
Number of Attempts and Time Limit:
A candidate has a maximum of 5 attempts to clear the JAIIB exam.
There is also a 3-year time limit from the first time of registration to clear the exam. If a candidate fails to clear it in 5 attempts or 3 years, they must re-enrol and start the process again.

JAIIB 2025 Exam Pattern
You must be wondering about what the exam pattern is. Well, let’s discuss that now. There are a total 4 papers in the JAIIB exam (as mentioned in the table below). Each paper is worth 100 marks, and the format of question answers is multiple-choice. The duration of each paper is 2 hours, and to a great relief there is no negative marking. Must note that obtaining 50 out of 100 is necessary to qualify the paper.

Passing Criteria for JAIIB 2025 Exam: To qualify for the JAIIB 2024 exam, candidates must score at least 50 out of 100 in each subject. Alternatively, achieving 45 marks in each subject and a total of 50% across all subjects in one attempt also qualifies. Candidates can retain credits for passed subjects until the time limit for completion expires.
