ఇంగ్షీషు స్టడీ మెటీరీయల్: Tenses

తెలుగు వ్యాకరణంలో భూత, భవిష్యత్తు, వర్తమాన కాలాలు ఎలా ఉన్నాయో ఇంగ్షీషు వ్యాకరణంలో, భూత, వర్తమాన మరియు భవిష్యత్తు కాలాలు కూడా ఉన్నాయి. ఇవి మనం రోజువారీ వ్రాయాల్సిన మరియు మాట్లాడే  ఆంగ్ల భాషను సులభం చేస్తాయి. తరచుగా అభ్యర్ధులు విస్మరించినప్పటికీ పోటీ పరీక్షలలో ఇది చాలా ముఖ్యమైన అంశం. అభ్యర్ధుల కోసం సులువుగా అర్ధమయ్యే విధంగా ఇక్కడ టెన్స్స్/ కాలాలు అంశాన్ని అందించాము.

ప్రతీ పోటీ పరీక్షలలో ఇంగ్షీషుకి ప్రాధాన్యం ఉంటుంది అందులో టెన్స్స్ అంశాన్ని నేర్చుకుంటే మిగిలిన Error Detection, Active Voice, Passive Voice, Direct& Indirect speech వంటి కీలక అంశాలు సులువుగా అర్ధం చేసుకోవచ్చు.

ఇంగ్షీషు భాషలో ప్రధానంగా టెన్స్స్ అనేది ముఖ్యమైన అంశం ఇది కాలానికి అనుగుణంగా ఉంటుంది. టెన్స్స్ ప్రధానంగా Present (వర్తమానం) Past (భూతకాలం), Future (భవిష్యత్తు). ఈ మూడు కాలాలు 4 రకాలుగా ఉంటాయి అవి Simple, Continuous, Perfect, Perfect continuous ఈ టెన్స్స్ అనేవి మొత్తం 12 రకాలు ఈ కింద పట్టికని గమనిస్తే మీకు అర్ధం అవుతుంది. ఇందులో 2 అతి తక్కువగా వాడుక భాషలో వాడతారు అవి: Future perfect మరియు Future perfect continuous

Tenses గురించి వివరంగా తెలుసుకోండి:

Simple Present లేదా Present Simple

రోజువారీ పనులు,  వార్తా పత్రికల హెడ్ లైన్స్, అలవాట్లు, క్రికెట్ కామెంటరీ, యునివర్సల్ ట్రూత్, సాధారణ పనులు వంటివి చెప్పేడప్పుడు simple present tense ని ఉపయోగిస్తాము.

simple present tense లో మనం verb యొక్క మొదటి రూపాన్ని V1 form ని ఉపయోగిస్తాము.

Ex: I play cricket ( ఇక్కడ play అనేది verb అవుతుంది దాని మొదటి రూపం play)

యునివర్సల్ ట్రూత్/ నిత్య సత్యాలు:

• The earth moves round the sun
• Sun rises in the east

Subject లో he, she, it లు వస్తే verbకి s/es ని కూడా జాతచేయాల్సి ఉంటుంది.  

ex:  He plays Cricket, (ఇక్కడ subject అనేది he కాబట్టి play కి s ని జోడించాము)

అలవాట్లు 

• He drinks coffee daily
• She eats slowly

సమీప భవిష్యత్తులో జరగబోయే అంశాలను కూడా ఈ tense లో చెప్పవచ్చు 

• PM goes to America this Friday.
• School reopens on Tuesday.

SBI క్లర్క్ పరీక్షా సరళి మరియు సిలబస్

Present Continuous

మనం మాట్లాడుతున్నప్పుడు లేదా చూస్తున్నప్పుడుకానీ జరుగుతున్న సంఘటనలు  Present Continuousలో చెబుతాము. జరుగుతున్న సంఘటనలు మనకి కనిపించకపోయినా వాటిని కూడా present continuous tense లో ఉపయోగించవచ్చు.

• I am learning English
• We are preparing for bank exams
• He is reading a book

గమనిక: ఈ tense లో am/is/are అనే helping verbs ఉంటాయి వాటికి అనుగుణంగా I వచ్చినపుడు am ను, we/you/they వచ్చినపుడు are ను, he/she/it వచ్చినపుడు is ను ఉపయోగించాలి.

present perfect tense

ఏదైనా ఒక పని గతంలో కానీ కొంత క్రితంకానీ ప్రారంభమై పూర్తయిపోయిన పనులు ఈ Tense ద్వారా చెబుతాము. గతంలో జరిగినప్పటికి కూడా దాని ప్రభావం మనం అనుభూతి చెందగలము

ఫార్ములా : Subject+have/has+V3

ex:

• he has come to hyderabad recently.
• my brother has gone to Delhi.

గమనిక: ఈ tense ని గుర్తుపట్టడానికి కొన్ని ముఖ్య పదాలు ఉన్నాయి అవి, “ago, yesterday, last week/ month/year, in the year 1979, last monday, just, just now, so far, ever, already, till now, yet, before, recently, lately, before, never”

Present Perfect continuous

ఏదైనా ఒక పని గతంలో మొదలై మనం మాట్లాడే సరికి కూడా అది జరుగుతూ ఉంటే దానిని present perfect continuous tense లో చెబుతారు.

I have been preparing competitive exams from 8 months.

గమనిక: since/ for/ here too వంటి పదాలు తరచూ కనిపిస్తాయి

ఫార్ములా: sub+ has/have+been+v1+ ing+ obj+ for/since+time

I have been learning for an hour

I have been living in hyderabad for the last 6 months

Simple Past

ఏదైనా ఒక పని గతంలో మొదలై మరియు పూర్తైనపుడు దానిని simple past tense లో చెబుతారు. ఈ టెన్స్ లో verb యొక్క రెండవ రూపం V2 ని ఉపయోగిస్తారు

ex:

• I played football yesterday
• The boy failed in the SSC exam last year
• I learnt English during my college days

Past Continuous

ఏదైన ఒక పని గతం లో మొదలై కొనసాగుతున్న పనిని ఈ tense లో తెలియజేస్తారు

• He was playing cricket when I saw him
• I was watching television

ఫార్ములా: sub+was/were+v1+ing+obj

was/ were ఎప్పుడు వాడాలి ?

was: Singular/I/ he/ she/ it/names

were: Plural/you/ we/ they/ all

Past Perfect

గతంలో ఒక నిర్ధిష్ట సమయంలో జరిగిపోయిన పని గురించి చెప్పడానికి ఈ tense ను వాడతారు.

ఫార్ములా: sub+had+v3+obj

ex:  The train had left when he reached the station

I had seen him before he stopped his bike

By the time I reached the station, the train had left

Past Perfect Continuous

గతంలో ప్రారంభమైన పని కొంతకాలం జరిగి ఆ తర్వాత కూడా జరగడానికి అవకాశం ఉన్న పనిని ఈ tense లో చెబుతారు.

ఫార్ములా: sub+had+been+v1+ing

ex:

• My brother had been watching a movie for 2 hours
• I had been waiting for you since morning
• I had been writing notes for an hour

Simple Future

భవిష్యత్తులో జరగబోయే పనుల గురించి తెలియజేయడానికి ఈ tense ను ఉపయోగిస్తారు

ఫార్ములా: sub+shall/will+v1+obj

• I will go to movie tomorrow
• We will write exam next month

గమనిక: హెల్పింగ్ వర్బ్ shall అనేది I, we లకు ఉపయోగించాలి మిగిలిన subjectలకు వాటికి will ఉపయోగించాలి

Future Continuous

భవిష్యత్తులో ఒక సమయంలో జరుగుతూ ఉండే పనులను తెలియజేయడానికి ఈ tenseను వాడతారు.

ఫార్ములా: sub+shall/will+be+v1+ing+obj

• I will be writing exam by this time tomorrow
• We shall be working in bank by this time next year

Future Perfect

ఏదైనా ఒక పని భవిష్యత్తులో ఒక కచ్చితమైన సమయానికి పూర్తి అవుతుంది అనే పనులకు ఈ tense ను వాడతారు

 ఫార్ములా: Subject+will/shall+have+V3+obj

• We will have finished the exam by this time tomorrow
• You will have finished your syllabus by the end of next week

Future Perfect Continuous

ఏదైనా ఒక పని భవిష్యత్తులో ఒక నిర్ధిష్ట సమయం వరకు జరిగి ఆ తర్వాత కూడా కొనసాగుతూ ఉండే పనులను ఈ tense లో చెబుతారు

ఫార్ములా: Subject+will/shall+have+been+V1+ing+ obj+for/from+time

• By next month, we shall have been preparing for competitive exams for 1year
• We have been living in hyderabad for five years
