SSC CGL Syllabus 2025 For Tier 1 and Tier 2 Exam, Download PDF

Preparing for SSC CGL 2025? The first step to cracking the exam is understanding the complete and updated SSC CGL Syllabus. The syllabus is divided into Tier 1 and Tier 2, both held as computer-based tests (CBT). While Tier 1 covers general subjects like English, Quant, Reasoning, and General Awareness, Tier 2 goes deeper into topics and has a higher difficulty level. Knowing the subject-wise syllabus for both tiers is essential for planning your preparation effectively. In this article, we’ve shared the detailed SSC CGL Tier 1 and Tier 2 Syllabus 2025, exam pattern, and a downloadable PDF to help you study smart and stay exam-ready.

    SSC CGL Syllabus 2025

The SSC CGL 2025 Syllabus is designed to test your speed, accuracy, and understanding of basic concepts. Each subject checks a different skill, like math tests your calculations, Reasoning checks your common sense and how you think, English focuses on grammar and reading, and GK tests your awareness of the world around you. Your preparation needs to be strategy-driven. Instead of treating all topics equally, start by identifying the areas that carry more weight and demand deeper understanding, especially in Tier 2. There are 2 stages in the SSC CGL Exam: Tier 1 and Tier 2. The Commission will conduct the Tier 1 Exam from the 13th to 30th of August 2025. So, it’s essential to fully understand the SSC CGL Syllabus for Tier 1 and 2. Check important highlights of the syllabus and exam pattern below:
