Solution:

Here equivalent discount = 23.5%

23.5=15+x15x10023.5 = 15 + x - \frac{15x}{100}​​

x3x20=23.515x - \frac{3x}{20} = 23.5-15​​

20x3x20=8.5\frac{20x-3x}{20} = 8.5​​

17x=20×8.517x=20 \times 8.5​​

x=20×8.517x= \frac{20 \times 8.5}{17}​​

x= 10%
