Three identical sized blocks of lead, aluminium and zinc are submerged in water. Given that, at room temperature:
Density of Aluminium = 2.7 g/ cm³
Density of Lead = 11.29 g/ cm³
Density of Zinc = 7.13 g/ cm³
How would the buoyant force on lead block - 4 buoyant force on aluminium block - and buoyant force on zinc block compare with each other ?

The correct answer is (d) (BF)lead = (BF)zinc = (BF)alum.
Archimedes' principle states that the buoyant force on an object submerged in a fluid is equal to the weight of the fluid displaced by the object. This means that the buoyant force does not depend on the density of the object, but only on the volume of the fluid displaced.
Since all three blocks are identical in size, they will displace the same volume of water. Therefore, the buoyant force on each block will be the same, regardless of the density of the block.
