Given:
total number of student =48
Rashmi rank is 15th from top.
in top 15th there are five girl.
Solution:
let number of boys =2x
number of girls =x
total number of student = 2x+x =48
3x=48
x=16
total number of boys = 32
total number of girls = 16
according to question -
number of student in top 15rank =15
number of girls in top 15 = 5+rasmi
so number of boys in top 15=15-6=9
number of boys below rank = total boys - number of boys in top15
=32-9
=23
