Sum of a number, its half, its 13\frac{1}{3}​ and 27 = 71

Solution:

Let the number be x

Then x+x2+x3+27=71 x + \frac{x}{2} + \frac{x}{3} + 27 = 71​​

6x+3x+2x6=44\frac{6x + 3x+ 2x }{6} = 44​​

11x6=44\frac{11x}{6} = 44​​

x= 24
