    Given:

    The total share of different insurance products offered by an insurance company

    Total insurance sold = 36000

    Solution:

    Fire insurance sold = 6%

    Property insurance sold = 2%

    Total fire and insurance sold = 6 + 2 = 8%

    Number of fire and property insurance sold ;

    = 8% of 36000 = 8100×36000\frac{8}{100}\times 36000​  = 2880
